Re: Android/EVO question
i'm not too sure what you're asking.
You can use dropbox to watch videos streamed from PC to EVO but it's extremely slow. Dropbox is still nice to have to move files from PC to phone without USB though.
if that's not what you mean let me know

Re: Android/EVO question
i think dropbox is what im looking for.. if i have my pc always connected to the internet and lets say im at work, can i watch a movie i have on my pc (which is at home) on my EVO at work? i didnt think that was possible.. its either that or remove the DRM which is kind of a bitch.. or i can just look for the torrent..

Re: Android/EVO question
I'm not aware of drm causing much of a problem. Most videos will play on the EVO with something like rockplayer lite or vplayer that plays unsupported file types.
dropbox for android will allow you to stream files you put in it to your phone but not allow you access to your PC or any directory but the dropbox app. so really it's just best to put the file on the phone and delete it when you're done if space is an issue. I've never had good experience when playing a video on dropbox either. 4g or wifi connected it was always extremely choppy

Re: Android/EVO question
sorry just figured out what you mean. I'm dense sometimes
I don't think there's a way to play a drm protected video without converting it to MP4 or something per google.
