If Team Sleep came to town I might go see that and it might be more enjoyable to take the boy to. Maybe. Oh I don't know. He doesn't particularly care for either so I'd have to pay for two tickets for something I only kind of want to see.

Yeah, see, I'm an asshole like that and it's the kinda thing I like to throw my money away on. Me and my friend Meag are going twice, in Rhode Island and Boston. We got VIP tickets for the RI show, and since we get to meet them with those I'm going to remind Stephen and Chino I smoked with them on their bus last time they were in Boston, and that we should totally do that again. And then hope that possible awesomeness carries over to the Boston show which we didn't buy VIP tix for, because that would be a little too crazy.

I got really stoned, unsurprisingly Stephen had amazing weed, and Meag was detained at work and I kinda freaked out and had to get off the bus. Or I tried to anyway, I couldn't open the bus door and Frank had to open it for me. I felt really dumb, haha.

I havent been to a Deftones show in ages, though I really want to. Its just the idea of all those people that makes me want to not go.

i saw deftones in melbourne at the bdo about a month ago. the sound was crappy and it was about 102F...it was hot. but i was there with one of the first people i talked to on the OG deftones board, so that was kinda weird.

Both NY shows are sold out. But I wasn't paying $52 to see them anyway. The most I've ever paid for a ticket to see any concert was $50 for Every Time I Die and that was really only because I was desperate to see Architects who were opening. It would have been cool to see Dillinger Escape Plan though. One day maybe I'll get to catch both of these bands live.

Yea I would never want to go to a festival type thing. Like that or warped tour or anything like that. I like smaller club/bar shows. You usually get an awesome atmosphere where everyone is really into it, your close, and there's just an energy. I've seen a few shows at Jones beach and they just didn't compare.

No, not this time. They're playing about 4 blocks from my house, but I'm not really interested in going. They're sold out now anyway. I have never really been into going to concerts, and I hate spending that much money for it.

I've always loved going to concerts, live music just does it for me. I don't really go out, so I guess the money most people spend on booze, I spend on concert tickets. Currently trying to figure out how I'm gonna weasel my way into the sold out QOTSA concert in 2 weeks.

Thankfully most of the bands I'm into are nobody metal/hardcore bands. So it's rare that any of the tickets cost more than $20.

I went to see them a few weeks ago. I wasn't sure if I was gonna go since I should be seeing them at Lollapalooza in August, and I couldn't find anyone to go with, but I said fuck it and went anyway. It was a pretty amazing set.

I really hope Maynard joins them at Lolla for Passenger, since he's there with APC anyway.

I'm broke. I think this will be the 3rd Deftones show I'll have missed in the last few years.

I've seen them plenty of times in the past though. It just doesn't excite me anymore.

I remember once was when I lived in Mexico and was underaged, another I was sick, the next time it was too far (Viejas, I think), and this time it sold out too soon.

I'm glad I saw Team Sleep a few years ago.

I took a sneak peek over at Sharing Dongs the other week.

Apparently Chino isn't doing Team Sleep anymore because they got too big too fast or something stupid, and he didn't like the attention it brought. So now he's doing another side project. "Ghost" or something rather. I don't remember.

The name of the side project is "Crosses" now. It was "Holy Ghost". Sorry, I forgot the "Holy" part. HAHA!
