Laptops

I am in the market to buy a laptop. 

You all helped me find one for Chad a couple of years ago and so far it's been great. I imagine things change pretty often so I am wondering what a good affordable laptop is there days. I would preferably not get a netbook. I tried a netbook and would like to go full size this time. 


I don't really have a budget, however I'm really looking to not break the bank and right now it's pretty fragile. Might it be worth waiting for the holiday specials?

It took me a bit to get used to it.

I didn't realize the screen would be SO BIG. It is impractical to carry around so I am still debating if I will use it for trainings at work or not. I am not a fan of Windows 8 but I am getting used to it. It's taken a while to figure out where to find everything though.

Things are kind of lousy but still not horrible.

This year is going by so fast

I think I might buy a Toyota Yaris. I really don't want to have another loan open but I wouldn't be able to afford a car otherwise unless we cleaned out our combined savings. No savings = when health issues tend to happen.

Does anyone have any tips about haggling at a dealership?
