L.A. Noire
I can't be the only one obsessed with this game.

Re: L.A. Noire
I liked the ending. I'm about 6 street crimes from all 40 but they're a pain due to waiting for time of day and being spread out on different desks.
The game's a tad slow but it really isn't a bad thing. I do not like how the game "likes" the choices you make when you have multiple people to charge.

I haven't beaten it yet, on the arson desk though, so I'm almost done. I hate when a street crime happens all the way across the city. I like it though, good stuff.

Re: L.A. Noire
I keep expecting some big conspiracy just like in la confidential.. It seems like some of the people being convicted are realky innocent and the evidence is just circumstantial.. Maybe I should have been a lawyer

Re: L.A. Noire
Let me say this... The game will continue no matter who you charge with the crime. It even moved forward when I didn't charge anyone although one of the suspects was recognized by someone on the way out of the station and I had to chase his ass down.
It's kind of stupid.

Re: L.A. Noire
You mean the Greg Grunberg case? I thought I failed that one cause I didn't ask the questions right, but if other people had the scene were the guy recognized Greg Grunberg as the killer, then I feel better that I didn't just totally fuck it up, it's part of the game.
I beat it last night. It was really good. Gonna lend it to my friend, when I get it back I'll finish off the street crimes. Oh, I only found one of the golden film reels, what's up with those?

Re: L.A. Noire
golden film reels are just an extra thing to do to get trophies and 100%.
Yes, the Greg Grunberg case was the one where I let his ass go and had to chase him. You had to chose the other guy for 5 star rating.
I've been reading online guides for 5 stars now that I've beaten it and you need to chose people that they'd prefer to catch rather than who has more evidence it seems for 5 stars.

Re: L.A. Noire
Sucks for lakers, mike brown? You guys need to hope to get cp3 or dwight howard. Celtics are done, yes, they will be rebuildin in a year though. They might be good again in another ten years..

Re: L.A. Noire
I'm not all that against Mike Brown. He's definitely not my first choice, but he's the type of coach I was hoping for, in that he preaches defense.
And Lakers don't need a big trade like a D12 or CP3. They're capable of winning with the roster they have now. This season was a result of some kind of chemistry or off-the-court issues that we're not yet aware of rather than personnel. I do agree though, that the Lakers need to do what they should have done a year ago, and have Fish come off the bench instead of having him start. A point guard is definitely their biggest need right now. But again, even with this roster as is, I believe they can contend for/win a championship.

Well if the triangle is no longer gonna be our mantra, we really have zero use for Fisher now. I would definitely do the CP3 trade in light of that.

I'm sorry but I fail to see what that has to do with basketball. Why don't you just create a new thread about the different kinds of forums and which ones aren't sports forums?

Re: L.A. Noire
Lakers probably couldnt afford cp3 even after the new cba.. lakers should try to get steve nash. Nash would take a pay cut to win somewhere. I think his contract will be up, id love for boston to have him start and rondo come off the bench. Boston celtics: where players go before they retire..

maybe this site will work one day and we all can participate
http://www.bluffball.co.uk/
also, all day in LA the other day and I saw 1 person with a Lakers shirt or Jersey. I was disappointed in the lack of fanaticism after the playoffs.

Re: L.A. Noire
No, they are definitely sleeping together. It's the worst part of the game. You have no control over that whole plot twist that leads to your demotion. It's just bad writing.
They make up for it later because after the arson desk when the game "changes" things get good again.

Re: L.A. Noire
fuck... but i love this game though.. i just wish there was a little more variety and you could do a lot of social things on your own like gta.. that would make it a little more like la confidential, which is one of my favorite movies and btw you can get the la confidential blu ray on amazon for like 10 bucks, a fuckin steal kid!

Re: L.A. Noire
I was thinking about how good the game could have been if they made it more like red dead and gta with world interactivity. There's other improvements that could have been made to gameplay and story that would hace made it better. Despite all this its still an excellent game and i enjoyed the story alot.

Re: L.A. Noire
Finally finished it. Sone parts rushed through. Would have liked to have explored the era more.. id rate the game an 8/10
What should i play now? Red dead redemption, crysis 2, mass effect 2, or star wars unleashed 2.. lot of sequels
