im late to the party but just started watching Homeland... has anyone checked out this show?

Im on the second episode. Claire Danes' time from hypothesis/theory to action was a little too fast for my taste but she does work for the CIA and it did fasttrack the plot instead of a slower build. I like it so far. I do not know how they can make a lasting series around such a plot... Bryan Cranston was robbed at the Emmys last nite even though ive admire Damien Lewis since Band of Brothers and always thought he was underrated... Homeland is fucking awesome! It gets better every episode, too. Can't wait for the next season. Once you finish this season you'll see how it can keep going. The season finale is just ridiculous, I was literally on the edge of my seat the whole time. As cliche as that phrase is, it was true in that instance.

its an alright show. finished in time for tonites premier... it was epic when brody was in the bunker with the vice president... still think breaking bad is a far superior show. i think the emmys are flawed for judging one episode in each category instead of the whole season as is... damian lewis was good in the finale but bryan cranston was phenomenal for all of season 4. robbed. those award shows are mindless popularity contests anyway...

episode 2 of this season was epic... glad brody's video surfaced

The thing I like about Homeland is that the pace moves pretty quickly. They don't drag out story lines, for the most part, things happen a lot sooner than you'd think. In pretty much any other show Brody's confession tape wouldn't surface for another season or two, but it's Homeland so they ended the second episode of the second season with it.

When Saul put in the chip and Brody popped up on the screen, I slowly sat up and my jaw slowly dropped. I probably looked like the biggest goon! haha.

dude, carrie is a crazy bitch! that escalated very fast....

its highly improbable that the cia would let someone with a potential vendetta towards brody (also someone with slight mental issues) join their operation....

in hindsight this show is completely unbelievable, but it doesnt really occur to you while watching it...

Pretty much every drama is unbelievable, but they're shows so who cares? =p

I do love how the plot of Homeland moves so much faster than every other show I watch. Can't wait to see what happens with Brody in custody. Maybe we'll finally find out if it was him who slipped that guy the razor last season or not?

definitely thought Finn aka VP's son, who was with Dana, was going to be Abu Nazir's target to avenge Issa...

you think Brody, instead of being the CIA's double agent, would be Abu Nazir's triple agent?

Triple agent seems very likely with this show.

Claire Danes and Damian Lewis locked in their Emmy's for next year with their interrogation scenes last night.

I need to see the next episode already so I can know how Abu Nazir got to America. That's crazy!

Also, that was probably the most awkward sex scene I've seen on any show, and you only see if for 5 seconds. But seeing Saul sitting there having to listen to Carrie get fucked was just super awkward.

i havent watched since my last post until today when i caught up on the last 4 episodes. watched tonites..

strong dumbass on brody's part. we will find out just how batshit crazy in love carrie is since she knew nazir's plan for the vp's pacemaker so brody's secret is blown unless carrie decides to keep it a secret.

Well, she didn't tell Saul about the VP when she was on the phone with him, so I'd guess she isn't about to tell anyone. If she said something now it would cost her her job again, and probably end up in jail.

mind was obliterated after the finale... i thought the episode was good at turning the tables up until the last couple of minutes when carrie returned to the cia and saul...

The finale was fucking insane! Should have known that video of Brody would pop back up. Can't wait to see what happens next season, I'm sure it'll be even more crazy!
