Chick-Fil-A Appreciation Day

Man, that chicken sandwhich was good. I'm going back for dinner as well.

I wanna try it. but my mayor is being a dickhole and doesn't want one to open in Boston.

I'm actually not cool with their overt religious affiliation. I still eat at In-N-Out though, so I guess I'm the hypocrite.

I dislike all these organizations and people that hate groups of people for little to no reason. They're ruining my hate for singular people for little to many reasons.

I've never tried Chick-Fil-A. Not sure I will now but really could care less. There's none in town. Oddly enough the friend of mine that talked that place up the most was incredibly homosexual.

Let's be realistic here. Christians don't hate anyone. They dislike the gay lifestyle but there is no hate. And when I say Christian, I mean true Christians. There are false Christians out there believe it or not. And these false Christians are the ones that make true Christians look bad, like Chick-Fil-A's president.

There are bad apples in all groups of society. From law enforcement to the education system to organized religion. And yes, even the gay community has bad apples who hate anyone who doesn't believe what they believe.

Chick-Fil-A's president did not say a single hateful word. He just stood up for what he believed in. He voiced his American right to say that marriage should be between a man and a woman. But the gay community and its supporters twisted his words around and called it hate speech. Who's the real hater here?

If you're going to be bold and take a stance, then you have to expect people who disagree to stand up and say so.

marriage formed as a contract between two men, arranging the sale of his possession (a daughter) for a nominal fee (other objects). There's no holy institution that's being tarnished here. It is little more than a trade relationship.

If you're going to be bold and take a stance against the institution of marriage between a man and a woman (which has stood since the beginning of time) then the gay community must expect people to disagree with them as well.

I don't like making a political stance by spending or not spending money on a product I wouldn't have or would have purchased anyway.

People are allowed to disagree. That's the point.

What people aren't allowed to do is force others to live by their beliefs. We aren't a theocracy. We don't have to appease any religious group.

It's just classic homophobia though. Christians, Muslims and other groups that take a hard stance on homosexuality dont want their kids to get the idea that gay people are normal and have rights, or else they're afraid their kids will turn gay. It's ludicrous.

Chick-Fil-A's franchising model is terrifying.

They have GOOD food.

They are fighting against a God they don't even believe exists. Seriously?

Chick-Fil-A's food isn't the worst, but is by far the best.

I hate how every time I've ever ordered something from there, all the grease that was cooked out of the chicken under the heat lamps has somehow ended up slathered all over the bun.

Not that I'd prefer a greasy filet of chicken, but I also wouldn't prefer a greasy bun, either.

I should clarify and state that their stuff isn't even that good by Southern standards (Dodge's Store has the best chicken in any store in the South as far as I know)
