Have you biked with 16 pounds of dry catfood? I have to bring a backpack for it.

I've biked with about that much of books and such. Kibble seems like it'd be a lot more bumpy.

After close to 2 1/2 years of joblessness, I got hired at the airport today. It's just pushing luggage around, but it's right next to my house so that is cool. They also told me they cross train everyone for everything, so I'll be picking up some management training as well, which kinda scares me.

The coolest part though, is that I'll need to use hand scanners to access certain parts of the airport, which I will always pretend that I'm a super spy when I use them.

Soon enough you'll be performing body cavity searches! Sweet.

I've been awfully busy shuckin' and jivin' for the man. I'm also pretty self-centered.

Garrett, your book would have been a whole lot better if you just said shit like that for 500 pages.

My book would have been better if I had considered the plot beforehand instead of just writing it as I went. I like to think I learned a lot from that first effort. I'm plotting a new novel out now, and its sure to be more palatable.

I have an interview next week for a full-time position with full benefits (medical insurance would be awesome). Initially my odds looked good but it looks like they're leaning toward someone they've known for longer and already has the necessary relevant training. Fuck, this would be a great position, though.
