Quick, someone call me a retard.

It's been 13 years since I first set foot on the old official board. Things were intense back then. I remember the feeling of being 16 and talking so much shit. Threads moved FAST! Everyone was a troll. Even Ale was mean sometimes. God, I miss it.

I remember desperately wanting to be popular. It just wasn't happening. Every few months I would blame my lame reputation on the shitty username I was rocking, and change it. Then I would run around with my new name wreaking havoc and trying to get some positive attention. After a while it got better. The . was pretty cool. People liked the . for some reason. I think it should have been . all along.

I think my memory is quite above average. I knew of every person, what they looked like, and what kinds of things they said. It's like knowing everyone at your high school while only a handful know you. Very bizarre. How the fuck do memories work? It's not any evolutionary advantage to remember so much crap like we do. I think I understand why I'm getting nostalgic, now. The unthinkable amount of hours spent on that board were a BIG chunk of my teens. I live day to day not thinking about it, but honestly, all that we are is comprised of our bodies and memories. Momentary present conscious mind just drags these along through the endless procession of days. You all are a part of me, and a whole list of people that don't remember me. FWIW, that's not woe in the SLIGHTEST. It's objective and kind of neat.

Well, at least you got to be in those twilight movies.

I get nostalgic as well. A part of me wants the boards to come back to what they were and a part of me really doesn't.

Growing up was shit, the boards were shit. But I wasn't alone.
